VOLUNTEER of Nov: Terry Hodges
by Alpine Summit ·
Terry has been married to Pam for 40 years. Pam was his younger sister Joyce’s best friend so they had know each other for a long time. They were married in First Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs. They have 3 daughters; Jamie, Lori, and Mandy; and 5 grandchildren; Bobby, Kyle, Brittany, Allie and Chaz.
In 1976, Terry resigned his commission in the Air Force and they moved back to Rockford. After visiting several churches, they found Alpine to be the friendliest and became members in November of 1976.
He has served on the Church Council, been an usher, serves as a lay assistant, was a C & E member who then joined the choir, and is currently the chairman of the Stewardship Committee.
Outside of Alpine, Terry served as the treasurer for RALM and just recently finished a term on the board of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans as their recording secretary. He served on his condo board and is still on the finance committee.
We thank Terry for his dedication to our church, and we thank God for him…….Congratulations!
