Sunday School Registration & Program at 10:45

One of the most fun days in the church year comes the Sunday after Labor Day, when we let go of helium-filled balloons and have a little party while we register for Sunday School. Called “Rally Day,” we gather in the troops again to begin our fall program for children.

Our chairman of the Christian Education committee, Bob McVinnie, writes the following invitation for the congregation:

“Rally Day has arrived. Everyone come and enjoy a church family moment as we register our kids and grandkids for Sunday School – little ones through high school. Enjoy cake, pie, ice cream and hotdogs as we prepare for a festive and colorful balloon launch – sending our message of Christ’s love into the world. Let us come together as a church family following the second service. We will meet in the school gym at 10:45 for registration and food. Meet the teachers and enjoy the moment!”

Thanks to the Social Ministry and Christian Ed committees for serving.

Also, keep in mind that worship is still 8:00 and 9:30 this Sunday, but it changes next Sunday, Sept. 20, to 8:00 and 10:30, with forum time in between.

Let’s everyone “rally” to show their enthusiasm for the church!
