The Lord Will Provide
“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus” – The Apostle Paul.
God knows what I need. My finical, emotional, physical, and relationship needs. All of them. There is nothing that is forgotten, left unnoticed, or ignored. God gets me. God understands what both I long for and what truly need. Although the difference might be murky to me – God can distinguish between the two.
So why does it feel like I am always in need of something? Why do I never seem to be satisfied? Why I am always so focused on realizing myself via goals, achievements, and rewards? Why is it so hard to actually live like I believe the truth The Lord Will Provide? After all, much of my life is focusing on me trying to fulfill my own needs.
Are you like me? Struggling to live like I believe the words of Paul? If so than I invite you to take part in our upcoming stewardship series The Lord Will Provide. Starting Sunday, October 14th we will be going through a 5-week worship series focusing on this very truth. Does the Lord really provide? If so how should change the way think, feel, and live? We will be examining the life of Paul and looking at various moments in his life when God changed who he was, how he thought, and what he believed. Our goal is to transform the way we think about stewardship so that we can live and give all of who we are – trusting that The Lord Will Indeed Provide.
Mark your Calendars: We will have one worship service on Sunday October 14th @ 10:00 AM with a celebration meal to immediately follow as a kickoff to our fall stewardship series The Lord Will Provide.

Rejoicing Spirits Worship Service
Rejoicing Spirits is an innovative ministry that works to enrich the faith lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families and friends and other supportive community members. We hope to start a new hush free, meaningful and inclusive worship service here at Alpine for people with intellectual disabilities and the people who love and support them. People are free to be themselves while actively participating as contributing members in an inclusive faith community. To do this we need volunteers- at least 8 of them! This is a once a month commitment to help welcome and accommodate this new Thursday evening service. Please let Pastor Dan know if you are interested.
